NEW YORK (October 6, 2009)--Johnny Cash gave daughter Rosanne his list of 100 essential country songs back in 1973, and she learned some of them and eventually put the list away.

But, for the last 17 years her husband has been urging her to record at least some of the songs and she finally did.

Twelve of them make up her new CD called "The List."

It's her first album of covers and it features a few duets including "Sea of Heartbreak" with Bruce Springsteen, "Heartaches By the Number" with Elvis Costello, "Long Black Veil" with Jeff
Tweedy and "Silver Wings" with Rufus Wainwright.

"The List" went on sale Tuesday.
