LOS ANGLES (November 13, 2009)--Janet Jackson will be opening this year's American Music Awards by performing a medley of her hits, which should not only will help the show get some ratings, but also will help Jackson promote her greatest hits project.
The AMAs are set for Nov. 22 and will be aired live on ABC.
