WACO (October 24, 2012)--A new app, available today, will allow Waco City Cable Channel viewers to access the channel on their smart phones or iPad.
By downloading the app, users will be able to watch the channel live or select from a library of programs, including new short films and documentaries.
“History of Waco’s General Tire Plant,” “Growing Up in Rural McLennan County,” and “Waco, A Moment in Time” are a few of those features.
Nine informational monthly talk shows produced in the studios will be available to view as well as the “Waco Up Close” viewer contest where residents must correctly identify an object and place it in the city.
The first person to correctly guess will win tickets to the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum and Cameron Park Zoo.
WCCC-TV airs in HD and is available on Grande Channel 810 or in standard definition on Time Warner and Grande Channel 10.
