Q & A with Dr. Bonny Cain and WISD Community Forums to be broadcast on Waco's Public Radio Station - 103.3, KWBU-FM.

[Waco / January 13, 2012] - Public radio station KWBU-FM announces broadcast schedule for special programming concerning possible school closures and realignments for Waco Independent School District. KWBU has partnered with WISD and the League of Women Voters to make available recordings of all five town hall meetings. Four of the five will air on 103.3 FM, with the Spanish language forum being available on line.

"This is a critical issue for the Waco community and as the public radio station we feel we are serving our audience by making these forums available to hear again," said KWBU Station Manager Brodie Bashaw. "In addition, we are going to have an entire hour with Dr. Bonny Cain to answer even more questions." Bashaw said.

Forums will air nightly at 8pm. Broadcast dates are:

January 16 - Waco High School (recorded Jan. 5, 2012)

January 17 - Universtiy High School (recorded Jan. 9, 2012)

January 18 - A. J. Moore Academy (recorded Jan. 11, 2012)

January 19 - G. W. Carver Academy (recorded Jan. 12, 2012)

January 19 - Cesar Chavez Middle School - Spanish language forum - (recorded Jan. 10, 2012) available on line at www.kwbu.org

On Tuesday, Janaury 24th at 7pm, WISD FEEDBACK will air on KWBU. This is a special one hour conversation with Dr. Bonny Cain, WISD Superintendent.
