BELTON (February 6, 2013)--The Belton Youth Advisory Commission is accepting applications through Friday for community service projects.
Window washing, yard work, minor home repairs and other service projects will be reviewed and considered after consent is given by the homeowner.
The projects will be performed by the youth and other community volunteers during One Community One Day April 6.
The goal of the event is to engage residents to spend a day (about four hours) helping a neighbor while beautifying the city.
Applications can be filled out online or at the Harris Community Center on N. Alexander Street.
