(April 5, 2012) - With all of the ups and downs for this year's elections changes, many Central Texas voters are saying they're confused.
A group of worried voters attended a recent educational event at the Bledsoe Miller Recreation Center to get answers.
The McLennan County Elections Coordinator, Kathy E. Van Wolfe, spoke to a group of about 30 residents.
She explained the many changes that the recent redistricting has brought to our area.
This includes new polling places, new state representative districts and new county precincts for some races.
She says city and school district elections have also changed this year.
Many of the voters' questions centered on what would change when they go to vote.
The elections office says you will need to bring the same things you did last year to vote.
This includes this year's voter registration card, an a photo ID.
Some options include your driver's license, your passport, or military ID.
Information for all Central Texas counties voting details, are available by checking their websites, or calling the elections offices.
