7.9.2012 KPD Kid Watch Program Needs Volunteers

KILLEEN (July 9, 2012) --- The Killeen Police Department needs volunteers for their KID WATCH Program.

Volunteers will monitor kids at places like bus stops and watch out for suspicious people.

They'll also help out in neighborhood searches if a child goes missing.

All volunteers must complete an application and a criminal background check to be accepted into the program.

Volunteers who are accepted will be trained by members of the Killeen Police Department.
