(August 7, 2012)--Police and community members are coming together Tuesday, August 7 for National Night Out.
National Night out is designed to prevent crime by strengthening the relationship between the police and the community.
Here's a list of are towns participating this Tuesday in National Night Out:

GROESBECK - 6:30 p.m. at Groesbeck City Park
HILLSBORO - 6-9 p.m. at Hillsboro City Park
LACY-LAKEVIEW - 5-8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park
HEWITT - various neighborhood watch groups hosting block parties in their neighborhoods.
