Gatesville Wraps Arms Around Soldiers At North Fort Hood

The community of Gatesville, Texas, hosted a dinner Nov. 8 at the Prima Pasta restaurant in Gatesville for Army Reserve Soldiers affected by the Nov. 5 shooting at Fort Hood. The Soldiers are members of the 1908th and 467th Medical Detachments from Kansas and Wisconsin respectively, but including Soldiers from many other states. Both units are preparing for overseas deployments with training at North Fort Hood and suffered fatalities and injuries during the shooting.
