Air/ground integration starts at top with Grey Wolf, Warrior

Colonel Douglas Gabram, commander of the 1st Air Cavalry “Warrior” Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, who normally flies in an AH-64D Apache attack helicopter, adjusted to the cockpit of the an M2A3 Bradley during an air/ground integration training event at Fort Hood. Husband and wife reenlist during mass reenlistment

Sergeants Ryan and Erika Lowe, members of the 64th and 401st Military Police Companies respectively, reenlisted during the July 4 mass reenlistment. Sgt. Ryan Lowe is a native of Wasilla, Alaska and Sgt. Erike Lowe is a native of Del Rio, Texas.

Quick thinking saves Iraqi judge’s life

Judge Hassan Fu’ad Menahm was preparing to drive away in his car at approximately 1:30 p.m. June 30 in the Waziriya neighborhood of the Adhamiyah district of Baghdad when his security guards, suspecting an attack, yelled for him to get out. Hassan exited the vehicle just before a bomb placed under the driver’s seat detonated. The blast blew a hole in the floorboard and the roof of the vehicle.
