Trust me, Patriot, I didn't post that. Mocking you in that way is beneath me. I don't have a blog OR readers, for that matter. But I must admit, it's kind of flattering that others are starting to imitate me.

Everyone is sitting here bashing Bush, but this mess in Afghanistan is CLINTONS fault!!! And for those of you who want OBAMA for President...He ONLY wants to pull the troops out of IRAQ. He wants to send them to Afghanistan AND Pakistan. So, the US will be in war for a VERY LONG TIME. He also wants to DECREASE the military's budget and wants to INCREASE our military by 65,000 troops. Please feel free to research Obama for yourself, such as I did before you say he'll make a GREAT President. He is a COMMUNIST!!!!!!!! He is the LAST person we want for president!!!! My husband is getting ready to gear up for his 3rd deployment to Iraq since 2004, so I know what it feels like to have a loved one over there. I know what it feels like to lose family over there, my brother was KIA. So, before going off of what you hear other people saying, research your nominees for president CLOSELY.

I doubt our "forefathers", who wrote our constitution and fought for our freedom would give a rat's behind what other countries thought of them because they had just kicked "their" butts... (Revolutionary War). To: el patriota ...Nice try Diablo but no cigar! I don't do playground retorts. If you don't support our troops and stand behind them, then by all means ...GET IN FRONT OF THEM! These soldiers are HEROS and should be honored. Put that on your Obama blog for your liberal blind followers/readers.

Prayers for each of these families! My heart aches each time I hear or read of another hero giving their life for freedom!

My prayers are with the families of these soldiers. I'm sorry for your lose.

All of you should be ashamed. Four wonderful sons/brothers/husbands lost their lives and your bickering about the president current and future. The point is that four men went to war and won't be returning. I am an army wife, my husband is serving with the same Brigade as these fine men. May God give their families peace at this time of sorrow. I will just keep praying that my soldier comes home safe.

As I sit here reading these comments I'm pondering the notion that I must have missed something! We must have went from a Democracy to a Dictatorship!!! All I here is "IT'S THAT BUSH'S FAULT!!!" I forgot that one man controls this nation right!!! Please people think before you speak.. I would agree if you said it is our goverments fault. But one man does not control this country. Oh by the way you might want to take an arabic class because if we followed some of the advice on here we would be speaking arabic instead of english. Just ask the French if they wanted to learn German. They didn't and we stepped in a stopped Hitler cold!!! Yes I do compare Hitler to Saddam!!! Do your research... Look at the comparison and if left alone Saddam would have turned into Hitler!!! Please people think before you speak... This war while crude, hurtful, and obscene is a necessary evil. In the big picture our US Troops are keeping my family and yours Safe from those that would harm us...

There goes "the patriot" again spewing his ignorant backwoods, barefoot, tobacco chewing, banjo picking, cousin dating rhetoric! Love you man! You provide so much entertainment for us! My blog is getting full but keep it coming! My readers are loving it!

That's one thing that made America great...helping other countries even though they couldn't do anything for us. It's why America held the moral high ground. We were respected as well as feared. Thanks to the Bush bunch, we've lost that. Torture, lies, corruption, etc. -- ugh. Our forefathers have to be spinning in their graves.

Yeah Diablo, lets gain back the international good will... like our great allies Mexico, The French, The Saudies, and of course the liberal Europeans, heck, might as well love Iran too. Yeah that sounds just great except our allies are only true allies when they want OUR help. In the past century, we have given more lives and money for other's freedoms and welfare than any other country on the face of the earth at "their" request. Who has "good will"?? David W in Waco... well said! Btw, Diablo, what god does the Devil pray to? Just curious......

Anonymous, what rock did you just crawl out from underneath? Obama's whole campaign has been centered around Iraq and to "Bring The Troops Home Now". Sheesh! Get a clue!

Posted by: Proud Army Wife Location: Temple on Aug 6, 2008 at 09:25 AM
My husband is currently in Iraq, along with his brother and my Uncle!! May God Bless our troops and their families! I don't always agree with the way things are, but I stand behind our troops 110%!! May God be with the families of the fallen HEROS!!

i dont think no one mentioned Obamas name in this...BUT PATRIOT.. What does he have to do with all this...?

Posted by: El Diablo Location: Hell on Aug 6, 2008 at 12:07 AM
Crystal, I pray for people like you and your husband every day. (For what El Diablo's prayers are worth!!) But our president has gotten us in over our heads. And we're all alone.

Posted by: crystal Location: temple on Aug 5, 2008 at 07:41 PM
i hate reading things like this. i hope and pray to God that i wont lose my husband. we were a little comforted when he was sent to afgahnistan instead of iraq but afghanistan is getting so much worse.

Posted by: El Diablo Location: Hell on Aug 5, 2008 at 02:53 PM
We DO need to win in Afghanistan. But Bush took all the momentum and good will from around the world after 9-11 and screwed it up by going into Iraq and alienating our allies. Idiot. Shame on him. Shame on us.

Im sorry for the loss of life here. But, you people are out of your dang minds. This is about global terrorism. If it was not faught there it would be on your streets. Then what? Are you going to stand out in the street and throw rocks, chant, and burn a candle. I think not. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. IT COST. AND THE PRICE IS A HIGH ONE. AMERICAN LIVES. Now HONOR those who have paid that price and get behind our troops OR BY ALL MEANS STAND IN FRONT OF THEM AND FIGHT.

Posted by: JESSICA Location: KILLEEN on Aug 5, 2008 at 11:48 AM
Way to go Gerald. I could not agree with you more. These soldiers knew what they were getting into when they joined the armed forces. They knew they might go to war. That is there job. It is in the contract I am sure when they sign up.

Posted by: Gerald Location: Fort Hood on Aug 5, 2008 at 11:31 AM
AnDrew has a bad case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. He is hysterical. Yes, 9-11 was all George Bush's fault. He was in office for less than 8 months, and it wasn't Bill Clinton's Justice Department that set up the "wall" that kept the CIA and FBI from sharing information. Of course, the terrorists aren't to blame for their own actions. Nah, not in these United States.

Posted by: Mimi Location: Killeen on Aug 5, 2008 at 10:38 AM
Andrew, while I agree with the statement that Bush is to blame for our economy,do you really believe that he is to blame for 9/11??? Are you serious? Don't you know that Bin Laden was plotting while Clinton was in office, and Clinton would not give the order to take him out. Check out the facts before you lay that on Bush.

Posted by: The Patriot Location: Texas on Aug 5, 2008 at 10:26 AM
Bin Laden was planning 9/11 long before Bush took office. Clinton knew all about Bin Laden, even had him in the scope, but called off the shot. Your messiah Obama's 1 hour War Zone Tour in Afghanistan consisted of a few mintutes of photo ops shooting hoops. Just like Iraq, he was not interested in our troops. And in Germany, Obama was too self-absorbed in his celebrity speech to the Germans, he had no time to visit our wounded soldiers. Ft. Hood tried to organize a Town Hall Meeting on Aug. 11 that would be held at the Bell County Expo. The meeting was to have McCain and Obama take a question & answer session from soldiers and their families. McCain said "YES, I'll be there". A spokesperson for Obama said, " Obama has family time then and that's sacred to him". What??? And this is the man you think should be Commander in Chief?? Good Luck!

OUR PRESIDENT IS HORRIBLE , HE IS THE REASON 9/11 HAPPENDED , HE IS THE REASON THIS WAS IS GOING ON , HE IS THE REASON THE ECONOMY IS BAD , HE IS THE REASON OUR COUNTRY IS BEING RUN INTO THE GROUND. THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY NEED A LEADER AND HELP AND HILLBILLY BUSH CAN'T DO IT.

Posted by: Gerald Location: Fort Hood on Aug 4, 2008 at 11:27 PM
Lynda, this was in Afghanistan. Did I miss some troop action in Afghanistan in the late 80's/early 90's? This has nothing to do with "daddy Bush." Typical uninformed antiwar pap. What would your response have been to the 9-11 terror attacks? Maybe your vote for change in November will make all the meanies leave us alone. After all, they only hate us because of our president, right?

Posted by: Michele Location: Killeen on Aug 4, 2008 at 10:33 PM
I agree....I wish they would bring our guys home too! My hubby is deployed and I can't take it anymore! BRING THEM HOME!

Posted by: Lynda Location: Killeen on Aug 4, 2008 at 09:53 PM
BRING THEM HOME!! This is a shame! I lost the love of my life in this war! I'm tired of seeing OUR soliders killed just because baby Bush wanted to carry out what daddy Bush couldn't!
