(WACO) — Students from across Central Texas will be among the more than 800 young people attending Texas State Technical College Waco’s annual College Preview and Open House, to be held Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. The event will begin in the Student Recreation Center located on Campus Drive.

College Preview and Open House is an annual event that draws more than 1,000 people from throughout Texas. Busloads of students from local, area and regional school districts will attend on Friday.

Students, parents, families and the general public are invited to attend the free event.

Highlights include campus tours of industry-standard labs and facilities; a free lunch on both days; a free financial aid fair with scholarship giveaways, door prizes and financial lenders; and a free Senior & Parent breakfast on Saturday morning. In addition, a gaming competition for ages 14 and up will be held on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Separate registration is required.
