GATESVILLE (October 11, 2009)—A Gatesville man is held in Coryell County Jail charged with three sex counts, one of which involves a child younger than 14.
Kenneth Jesse Blanchard, 42, already was being held on one count of failure to register as a sex offender.
He was additionally charged on Sunday with one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 and one count of sexual assault of a child.
Coryell County Justice of the Peace Larry McDonald set Blanchard’s bond at $100,000 on the aggravated charge, $50,000 on the sexual assault charge and $2,500 on the failure to register charge.
McDonald told News 10 both sexual assault charges resulted from accusations against Blanchard that revolve around incidents that happened this past summer in Gatesville.

@ Relative of 1 victim: I am sorry your family must go through this. Please check into the notifications that SHOULD have gone out about this pervert. His parole officer is OBLIGATED to make sure that EVERYONE is aware of his 'sexual preditor' status, whether it be newspaper, phone calls or knocking on doors. It is NEVER left to the preditor or their family to notify ANYONE. Rehab does NO good with this kind of monster - Most believe there is nothing wrong with what THEY do, that it is SOCIETY that is WRONG. I am very sorry for the family of this preditor because as long as they make excuses for him, feel sorry for him and/or defend him, he will only feel impowered to continue this behavior. God is the ONLY one that CAN conduct miracles - PRAY for EVERYONE - especially the victims.
what another one? what is happening with James Wheet?maybe they will be cell mates doing life together.it is hard to accept sick minded perverts are breathing air.being in protective custody is not going to save any child molesters.
