COPPERAS COVE (May 18, 2009)—Golden Apple Award winner Sonya Jackson says sharing her love of music with her students is the best job she could ever imagine.

Sonya has been teaching for 12 years, the past six of those in Copperas Cove at Fairview and Miss Jewell Elementary schools.

A lifelong love of music led Sonya to chose this as her career, and she thrives on the positive feedback she receives daily from her students.

She enjoys making them smile, and loves sharing happy stories with their parents.
