10-Year-Old Boy Displays Knife Aboard Local School Bus

TEMPLE (September 14, 2012)—Temple police were investigating Friday after a 10-year-old boy pulled out a knife and waved it around aboard a Temple ISD school bus.

The bus driver reported the incident at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West Avenue O in Temple.

Officers confiscated a small folding pocketknife that witnesses said the boy had pulled from his pocket, opened and waved around.

The boy was removed from the bus and released to a parent pending further investigation by police and the school district.
