Police Seek ID Of Woman Found Dead In San Antonio River

SAN ANTONIO (October 29, 2012)—An autopsy was planned Monday on a woman whose body was found in the San Antonio River.

Park visitors discovered the body Sunday afternoon.

It appeared to have been in the water for several days, authorities said.

Police Detective Ricky Lopez said the woman appears to have been in her 20s and probably was married.

Lopez declined to further describe the woman.
