AUSTIN (February 1, 2012)—Authorities Wednesday increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of John Erick Anderson, 51, of Austin, who’s been a fugitive since 1998.

They also released an age-progressed image of Anderson that shows him as he may look now.

Anderson’s prior convictions included aggravated sexual assault and indecency with a child for the molestation of two young girls over a period of several years, authorities said.

Anderson, who is fluent in Spanish, has worked as a missionary and has been known to travel outside of the country, possibly under an assumed name, authorities said.
