An autopsy was ordered in the death of a 13-year-old Fairway Middle School student whose body was found Tuesday morning at a fenced area on the east end of a football and soccer field at 902 N. 10th St. in Killeen.
The Killeen Independent School District’s crisis team met late Tuesday about the death of the eighth grade student, according to a Killeen Police Department press release, and several members of the team were on hand at the school Wednesday.
Police did not release the name of the teenager or information about the possible cause of death.
