KILLEEN (August 30,2010) -- A fast food restaurant in Killeen was robbed Sunday night, but what made this hold-up unique was the weapon the assailant used.
Police say the robber came into the Arby's Restaurant on W. Rancier Drive just after 9:00p.m. holding a samurai sword.
He demanded cash, and at some point he poked someone with the sword. That person was not seriously injured.
The man was described as a black male, about 5'7' tall. He was said to be wearing a long sleeved button down shirt with tan pants.
There was no immediate word on how much money he took.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Killeen Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477 or the Killeen Police Department at (254) 501-8800.
Crime Stoppers pays rewards of as much as $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest.
