WACO (September 4, 2010)—Waco police, assisted by other area agencies, were searching Saturday morning for a gunman who robbed a pawnshop on Waco Dr.
Police were sent to the Cash America store, in the 6500 block of Woodway Dr., just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday after employees there reported a robbery.
Police were looking for a man wearing a dark shirt, sunglasses and a blonde wig.
The gunman left the store on foot but one witness told officers he got into a grey or silver Chevrolet Trailblazer parked some distance away.
