KOKOMO, Ind. (September 9, 2010)--A Texas man who was working on a water tower in Kokomo, Ind., died after falling and getting entangled in cables.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office said Rodolfo Torrez Vazquez, 30, of Dallas died after the fall in Kokomo.
Howard County Coroner Jay Price said Vazquez was caught by a safety line, but may have broken his neck during the fall.
When deputies arrived authorities say Vazquez was dangling about 50 feet off the ground.
Authorities said Vazquez was dead before rescuers could reach him.
Investigators were expected on the scene Friday.
