Texas Toddler Caught In Soccer Net Dies
A Texas toddler who somehow got entangled in a backyard soccer net has died.

(October 8, 2007)--A 21-month-old North Texas boy who was hospitalized after he became tangled and strangled in a backyard soccer net has died.

The Dallas County medical examiner's office has ruled as the death of Matthew Cantrell as accidental hanging.

He died late Friday at Medical City Dallas hospital.

The boy was hospitalized last Monday after his mother found him in their backyard in Murphy and called 911. Police say emergency responders found the boy unresponsive.
