TEMPLE (September 22, 2010)--Temple police arrested a man they described as a transient early Wednesday as he left a restaurant that had just been burglarized.

The officers were dispatched at around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday to Sharon Jean's Restaurant at 6278 North General Bruce Drive in response to a report of a burglary.

They arrested Randolph D. Morris, 48, as he was leaving the building, police said, and recovered coins taken from inside the restaurant.

Morris was taken to the Bell County Jail.

The Bell County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case, police said Wednesday.
