(October 24, 2007)--A body found in Colorado's Crystal River is being identified as that of an Austin man.

The Gunnison County Sheriff's Department in Colorado says 53-year-old Brian Gerald Smith evidently planned to camp in the area, but died of a heart attack.

Under Sheriff Rick Besecker says Smith appeared to have been traveling alone.

A woman who had gone out for a walk discovered the body near an established campground, but it's not clear exactly when.

Smith's car, which was loaded with camping gear, was found in a parking lot near the base of McClure Pass, north of Marble, Colo.
