(November 4, 2007)—Waco police continued to look for a gunman Sunday after a drive-by shooting that sent a local teenager to the hospital.

It happened Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of North 9th street, where witnesses said someone in a car opened fire as a 17-year-old boy who was standing outside.

Family members said the teen had been involved in arguments with another teenager recently, but it’s not clear whether that was a motive for the shooting.

Police are looking for a black male, age 18-22, who’s about 5-foot-8 and weighs around 175 pounds in connection with the shooting.
They’re also looking for a black and white Ford Crown Victoria four-door sedan.
