(November 7, 2007)—Round Rock police Wednesday released a composite sketch of a suspected stalker and asked for the public’s help in finding the man.

The request comes after a Round Rock woman told police Tuesday that a man who she thinks has stalked her for the past two years followed her to Old Settlers Park and accosted her.

She told police the man fled after a brief struggle.

She was not injured, police said.

Round Rock police and Williamson County sheriff’s deputies searched the area for several hours Tuesday, but could not find the man, who’s described as white, 30 to 39 years of age, clean shaven, with dirty blonde hair and standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 with a medium build.

On Tuesday he was wearing a dark baseball cap, a red sweatshirt and dark blue sweatpants, police said.

He fled in a small gray car, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Round Rock Detective Shawn Scott at (512) 218-6664 or by e-mail at sscott@round-rock.tx.us.
