(November 12, 2007)-- Justin Dean Collingwood, 27, of Temple has been charged with aggravated kidnapping in the weekend abduction of a woman from the parking lot of a local bar.

The woman was attacked around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Bum’s Sports Bar in the 500 block of Southeast HK Dodgen Loop.

Witnesses who reported the assault told officers she and the man who attacked her left together in a truck, which police were unable to locate.

About 12 hours later, the woman was freed.

She told police she was held against her will, sexually assaulted and driven through several counties, before she was returned to Temple Saturday afternoon.

Officers arrested Collingwood around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn at 915 N. General Bruce Dr.
