First Confirmed Case Of Influenza B Identified In Central Texas
A Central Texas woman who fell ill earlier this month has the first confirmed case of Influenza B in the state, Scott and White officials said Friday.

A 62-year old Waco woman has the first confirmed case of Influenza B in the state, Scott and White officials said Friday.
Scott and White lab technicians isolated the virus from a throat swab collected from the woman on Oct. 19 at the Scott and White Clinic in Waco.
A case of Influenza A was reported during the first week of October in New Braunfels, Scott and White said.
