More Fort Hood Troops Due Home Tuesday
Another group of 1st Cavalry Division soldiers is due to return to Central Texas Tuesday.

(November 20, 2007)—A homecoming ceremony is scheduled Tuesday as another group of 1st Cavalry Division soldiers returns to Fort Hood after a 15-month deployment to Iraq.

About 200 soldiers from the division’s 1st Air Cavalry Brigade and 2nd Brigade Combat Team are due to return Tuesday.

The division is wrapping up its latest tour of duty in Iraq as soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division begin to arrive to take over responsibility for Baghdad and the surrounding area.
