Authorities are asking the families of eight missing children to give DNA samples as investigators try to determine the identity of a little girl whose body was found in a storage box that washed ashore in Galveston Bay.
A spokesman for the Galveston County Sheriff's Office says the
eight cases are from across the country. He said they were selected
from 110 cases of missing children who matched a description of the
girl being called "Baby Grace."
The child was described as being 2 or 3.
One of the missing children is a girl from Spring, but the
spokesman says that case wasn't being given greater weight than
others.
