Report: Sherman Gets A&M Gig

(November 26, 2007)--After only 2 days and a nationwide search for a new head coach at Texas A&M appears to be over.

The school has scheduled a 11 a.m. press conference today at the Bright Football Complex.

Current offensive coordinator for the NFL’s Houston Texas, Mike Sherman, is expected to be named as the next coach.

Sherman was a former offensive line coach for the Aggies in the 90’s.

Dennis Franchione, who was 32-28 in five seasons at A&M, resigned Friday after the regular-season finale against Texas.
