Police were looking Thursday for the man who robbed the Genco Federal Credit Union in the Waco suburb of Lacy-Lakeview.

The man entered the bank just before noon Thursday and demanded money, police said.

He did not display a weapon.

The robber escaped in a 4-door champagne-colored Mercury Topaz or Ford Tempo with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The car was last seen traveling west on Loop 340.

The robber was described as a white or Hispanic male, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighting about 175 pounds.

He had a mustache and was wearing a grey toboggan, a dark-colored jacket with two red diamonds on the back and a red cross in the middle, blue jeans and white shoes.
