On Friday November 30th, 2007, 1st Cav returned home from Iraq. My neighbor's husband was a part of this. I'm writing you to tell you about a lady there that was handing out balloons.
She had a giant bouquet of balloons and was getting in the way.
Just before my neighbor started to ask her to move, she overheard her say that she was doing this because, "it is what my husband would've wanted me to do". As it turns out her husband was set to return that day and he had died while over there.
She handed out the balloons to his friends and squad. I'm also sending two very emotional photos of my neighbors. These photos should be shown Nationwide.
They are amazing.
