(December 3, 2007)--Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn't think there's anything wrong with the way she looks in a bikini.

There have been a lot of rude comments on the Internet, in reaction to photos showing her on a beach in Hawaii with her new fiancé and with a bit of cellulite.

On her Web site, Hewitt writes that she's been silent for a long time "about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized."

She says she's not upset for herself, but "for all the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."

She adds, "A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be."

And she says, "Being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."

The star of TV's "Ghost Whisperer" and the film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" has some advice for girls who are shaped like she is.

She says, "Put on a bikini -- put it on and stay strong."

Hewitt was born in Waco and reared in the Killeen area.

I believe that God made us all the way he wanted for us to look! We all have to remember that it is not what is on the outside that matters! It is what is on the inside that counts! My momma always told me Beauty is only skin deep! So no matter whether you are a size 0 or a size 14 you are still beautiful!

I totally agree with Jennifer. She is a totally beautiful inside and out. Ya'll need to leave her alone. The young women could take a lesson from her. She is not the wild person that the news loves to talk about. She is a good person. Size shouldn't matter on anything. It should be what we do with our lives. I had a chance to meet her once and she is such a generous person. If anyone thinks she looks bad they need glasses or a doctors help.

You go girl!! Not that I would ever wear a bikini again at age 43, but I'm glad you are telling girls that it's ok to be bigger than a size 0! I have a 12 year old daughter who wears a Jr. size 5 and I think that is perfect. I never tell her she's not small enough, not will I ever. I think she should feel beautiful no matter what size she is. Thank you, Jennifer!!
