HOUSTON (June 16, 2011)--Two people on a motorcycle were killed early Thursday in a Houston-area crash while deputies were chasing them.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the chase began early
Thursday on Highway 59 when deputies tried to stop the driver of a
motorcycle for speeding and obstruction of the license plate.

The driver also faced an outstanding warrant for DWI and probation revocation.

Asst. Chief Randy Johnson with the Harris County Precinct 5 Office said the chase ended around 1:45 a.m. Thursday when the motorcycle rear-ended another northbound vehicle.

Johnson says the motorcycle operator was dead at the scene.

His female passenger died later at a hospital.

The names of the two have not been released.MotMo
