(December 19, 2007)--Three people suspected of bank robberies in the U.S. have been captured in Mexico and turned over to law officers in Texas.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio says the two men and one woman are suspected of two holdups in Louisiana and one in Atlanta, Georgia.

Investigators say the three were captured Tuesday night without incident in Matamoros, Mexico, and did not appear to have any suspected stolen money with them.

Further specifics on the robberies weren't immediately available.
