Sixteen years ago today, Bosque County residents were contending with flooding and nine years ago today heavy rain triggered deadly flash flooding in parts of Central Texas. Two teenagers died when a vehicle was swept into Nolan Creek and a helicopter was called in to help rescue residents stranded by the rising water.
