Spc. Clinton R. Gertson, 26, of Houston, died 19 Feb. in Mosul from injuries sustained from small arms fire.
Gertson was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment from Fort Lewis, Wash.
The Pentagon also reports that a 32-year-old Fort Hood specialist was killed in a vehicle accident.
A Defense Department statement reports that Specialist Katrina L. Bell-Johnson of Orangeburg, S.C. died Wednesday.
She was assigned to the Army's 418th Transportation Company of the 180th Transportation Battalion at Fort Hood.
