(January 13, 2008)—Searchers Sunday found the body of the second of four children who were evidently thrown from the top of the 80-foot-tall Dauphin Island Bridge in Alabama.

A duck hunter found the body of the first of the four children on Saturday in a marshy area.

A spokesman for the local sheriff's office said the second body was found Sunday on shore in
Bayou La Fourche Bay, about three miles west of where the hunter found the infant’s body on Saturday.

The children range in age from a few months to three years old.

Police say the discoveries confirm their belief that 37-year-old Vietnamese immigrant Lum Luong threw the children off the span.

According to authorities, Luong initially confessed to the crime but later backtracked, claiming two Asian women had taken the children and never returned them.

Authorities expanded the search area westward toward Mississippi Sunday on the belief that the bodies may have been swept there by strong currents
