Kraft Foods announced Monday it is recalling nearly 150,000 packages of Jell-O chocolate pudding that may contain unlisted pistachio nuts.
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to pistachio nuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these recalled products,” Kraft said in a prepared release.
“No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date,” the company said.
Kraft says the mislabeled packages were distributed nationwide.
The recall includes one-point-four-ounce packages of Jell-O brand sugar-free, fat-free, reduced-calorie instant pudding and pie filling in three flavors: white chocolate, chocolate and chocolate
fudge.
Consumers may return the pudding to where it was purchased for a full refund.
