(February 7, 2008)--Police are still looking for a 5-year-old boy who was abducted from his Austin driveway as his family was getting into the car Thursday morning.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert on Thursday for Adrian Jaimes, who police said was snatched by three Hispanic male suspects wearing white hooded sweatshirts.

The suspects were driving a gray Volkswagen Jetta with dark tinted windows.

Jaimes is described as Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes. He is 4-feet tall and weighs about 50 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.

Police say the family was getting into their car when the suspects drove up and one of them jumped out of the car and grabbed the boy.

Police say preliminary indications suggest the suspects are strangers to the boy, who struggled with his abductor.

His mother tried to get him out of the suspects' car but the doors were locked.

Anyone with information about the abduction should call Austin police at (512) 974-5210.

it's sad when ppl care more about spelling and grammer then the thought of the message. I hope that the family finds there missing love one.

Wow........its so sad how things can happen just so fast....and to think....my son gets sooo mad (hes 4) because i make him hold my hand as we walk ANYWHERE....well this just goes to prove my reason for being so cautious....my heart and prayers go out to everyone involved.

I hope that the child is found that is the topic on hand, not spelling, because if we were going to talk about grammar then we certainly could say something to mr. dub, and it seems as though you come on here to criticize someone else's concerns, not the current topic. a little fyi!

This is a comment forum last I checked, not a school classroom. God bless the family and I am praying for a safe return. Your comment was very sweet Valerie.

MRS REED I am genuinely concerned about this child. If you had read the comment I posted you will see that I admit to taking liberties. I also am praying for Adrians safe return. Once again you are trying to start something by responding to one of my comments instead of minding your own business. It really isn't necessary to find every story I comment on and put your 2 cents worth in. That is childish. Oh, I'm glad to see that you found the CAPS-LOCK button on your keyboard genius!

Dub- It looks like we meet again and once again over the same topic. Once again who cares about spelling? Valerie was being gracious enough to pray for Adrian's safe return home and for his family. I think that you are being really cruel right now, but then again that is just my opinion! Valerie your intentions are in the right place.

Fine who? The 5 year old? Who is my and why are they praying to go out with his parents? Shouldn't they be looking for the kid instead of dating each other? Silliness aside, I really do hope they find the boy alive and well. I am a father of 3 and I don't know how I would cope with such a tragedy. My prayers go out to the family of Adrian. Pick up some books Valerie, they are free for your use at the library.
