WACO (June 5, 2012)—A McLennan County man was being held Tuesday in county jail charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 14.

John Marcus Leos, 41, was ordered held on bonds totaling $130,000, charged with indecency with a child and aggravated sexual assault.

McLennan County sheriff’s Capt. Kenneth Vanek said Leos was arrested in connection with a report of a sexual assault last November that the victim, who is younger than 14-year-old, said happened at a residence south of Waco.

Vanek said Leos and the victim were acquainted.

Leos was arrested early Sunday morning at a residence in the Speegleville area, Vanek said.
