(February 18, 2008)—Authorities throughout Central Texas were on the lookout Monday evening for at least one suspect after the manager of the Marlin McDonald’s restaurant was robbed while en route to the bank to deposit weekend receipts.
Banks were closed Monday because of President’s Day, but the manager was planning to use a bank night drop around 3:30 p.m. Monday when a car pulled in front of her.
Moments later a man smashed out the window of the manager’s vehicle, grabbed the bank bag and ran.
Authorities didn’t disclose how much cash was taken, but the amount in the bank bag was believed to be large.
Other details were not immediately available.
