West Texas Veterinarian Indicted In Husband’s Death

San Angelo veterinarian Wendi Mae Davidson has been indicted for murder in the death of her husband, Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael Leslie Severance.

Court records obtained by the San Angelo Standard-Times indicate Davidson is accused of introducing toxic levels of a drug used to euthanize animals.

The Tom Green County Grand Jury indicted Davidson this week on a murder count and two counts of tampering with or fabricating evidence.

Davidson is free on $200,000 bond.

Police say Davidson told her brother she found her husband dead on Jan. 15 and hid his body, fearing a family member had killed him.

She reported him missing the next day and filed for divorce the following day.

Police found Severance's body on March 6, tied to cinder blocks in a stock tank.
