UPDATE (June 22, 2012): A missing Texas boy was found unharmed Friday.
Six-yearold Simon Colby Weyman was found swimming in an apartment complex in Selma.
The boy's mother and another person involved were arrested.
LIVE OAK (June 22, 2012)—Police in a San Antonio-area town issued an Amber Alert Friday morning for a missing Live Oak 6-year-old boy.
Simon Colby Weyman was last seen at about 8 p.m. Thursday in Live Oak.
Authorities were initially looking for two men in the boy’s disappearance.
But Friday afternoon an updated alert indicated that police are now seeking Melissa Dyane Weyman, 43.
She’s believed to be driving a red 1990 Toyota Celica with Texas license CG5G973.
The car also is said to have a bumper sticker on the rear bumper that is green or white in color.
Simon is 3-feet, 4-inches tall, weighs 90 pounds, has blonde hair and brown eyes.
Weyman is 5-foot-9, weighs 140 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Live Oak is a community on Interstate 35 about 16 miles north of downtown San Antonio.
