Robert Glenn Martin, Jr. (Jail photo)
WACO (July 12, 2012)—Waco police arrested a local man Wednesday after nude photographs of a woman were texted to more than 300 people without her consent.
Robert Glenn Martin, Jr., 35, was released Wednesday after posting bonds totaling $16,000, charged with three counts of harassment and one count each of promoting obscenity and providing harmful material to a minor.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said police obtained warrants for Martin after several people who knew the woman in the pictures notified police.
Police were able to verify the photos were sent on May 21 in text messages from Martin’s cellular telephone.
Swanton said the messages stated Martin had sent the photos to “all my contacts, 343 of them”.
Several people who received the photos later contacted police.
Recipients included members of the woman’s family and her children, one of whom is a juvenile, Swanton said.
