Interstate 35 South Service Road Reopened After Early-Morning Wreck

HILL COUNTY (July 24, 2012)—An Interstate 35 access road was closed to southbound traffic Tuesday morning after a truck tractor, semi-trailer rig crashed, but by 8:45 a.m. the road was again open.

Main lanes on the Interstate had re-opened at about 5 a.m. but the service road at mile marker 358 south to Hill County Road 3251 was closed.

A spokesman for the Department of Public Safety said no one was injured, but a load of metal framing that was on the trailer spilled onto the roadway.

The accident was reported just after 2:15 a.m.
