If an online casino is willing to pay $28,000 for a grilled cheese sandwich bearing the face of the Virgin Mary, how much is a pierogi with the face of Jesus worth?

An Ohio woman hopes to find out.

Donna Lee says the image appeared in a pierogi -- a Polish dumpling -- as she was cooking it for Easter dinner at her home near Toledo.

She says she's kept it in her freezer ever since.

She and her husband posted the dumpling on E-bay with a starting price of $500.

By mid-morning Thursday, six potential buyers had submitted bids, the highest of which was $760.

In November the online casino, GoldenPalace.com, bid $28,000 to purchase the 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich that supposedly bears the image of the Virgin Mary.

A spokesman for the casino told The Miami Herald that the sandwich is "a part of pop culture" and that the casino "knew right away" that it wanted to purchase it.

Sandwich owner Diana Duyser says she spotted the image after she'd taken a bite out of the sandwich and saw the face staring back at her.
