Water Restored In Central Texas City After Morning Outage

By: Paul J. Gately Email

ROBINSON (August 31, 2012)—A water main break in Robinson forced a shut down of portions of the city’s water service but service was being restored to those affected Friday afternoon.

A spokesman for the city said the line break this morning behind the Pilot Travel Center affected commercial and residential water customers in Surrey Ridge, along Greig Drive and West Moonlight Drive.

The city had the problem repaired at about noon and water pressure was being restored.

The city likely will impose a boil order but as of mid-afternoon Friday no such order had been issued.
