Cameron police Chief Randy Dixon said officers still are preparing charges against a 15-year-old boy in connection with the incident and he is likely to be arrested as well.
Records indicate the juvenile had recently been released from a Texas Juvenile Justice facility where he was being held on a criminal charge.
As well, Dixon said engaging in organized criminal activity charges are pending against all five.
Dixon said the four were arrested after an incident at 12:30 a.m. Saturday during which two men were beaten and robbed at a residence in the 400 block of S. Austin Street.
The two victims rode to the house with two women they met at a local nightclub and after they got there, two men assaulted them and stole their belongings.
Dixon said the victims were beaten in the head and had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment but both had been released Monday afternoon.
