WACO (September 6, 2012)-Waco police served a search warrant early Thursday morning and recovered a significant amount of various drugs and U.S. Currency and made one arrest.
Edtwan Rashard Branch, 25, was arrested and booked into the McLennan County Jail on several drug charges and was released Thursday night on a $15,000 bond.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Branch was arrested just before 6 a.m. at an apartment in the 900 block of Lake Air Drive when officers raided the residence with a search warrant.
Waco's SWAT team rushed the residence and detained two adults, one of whom was Branch, and a child.
Officers seized more than 21 ounces of marijuana, 10 grams of Ecstasy, 2 grams of Codeine and an undisclosed amount of cash.
